Join Our Team as a Diesel Mechanic Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Recology, a leading provider of waste management services. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in top working condition to meet the demands of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy equipment components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Inspect and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective repairs.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a journeyman mechanic or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no restrictions.
