Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credentialing Coordinator to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely completion of credentialing applications for healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist applicants in submitting necessary documentation for credentialing and re-credentialing
  • Perform various credentialing tasks at the direction of CVO management to complete the credentialing process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date physician databases
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for process improvement
  • Participate in the development and implementation of changes to credentialing processes
Requirements
  • Two years of post-high school education, training, or experience
  • Associate degree in health administration or a related field preferred
  • One year of work experience in the healthcare environment and general knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, hospital policies and procedures, and general licensing regulations
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly pay rate of $31.65. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
