Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Perinatology Sonographer to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our Maternal Fetal Medicine department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality ultrasound services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including ultrasound exams, under the direction of a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician.
  • Independently assess the appropriateness of ordered procedures and initiate changes/alternatives as necessary to ensure patient safety and optimal diagnostic value.
  • Verify patient identification and correctness of orders according to department policy and procedure.
  • Assume responsibility for the care, utilization, and maintenance of ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Effectively communicate problems and status with Coordinator and/or Director to facilitate operational alternatives.
Requirements
  • RDMS credentials
  • Certificate of Nuchal Translucency Certification
  • C.L.E.A.R Certification
  • Current BLS card
