Job Overview

RIG Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the general accounting function, including cash reconciliation, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Reconciliation and Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Accounts Payable: Process accounts payable, including posting of invoices into General Ledger, statement reconciliation, and issuing payments to vendors.
  • Expense Reconciliation and Invoicing: Reconcile expenses and monthly credit card statements, and process invoices monthly.
  • Client Invoicing: Generate and proof invoices for accuracy, and review invoices to ensure time is being billed to the correct client/matter.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze accounting data, and produce financial reports or statements periodically and on request.
Requirements
  • Strong Accounting Skills: Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and external parties.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
