Job SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care at our in-center hemodialysis clinic. As a member of our patient care team, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care throughout patient assessment, initiation, and discontinuation of treatment
- Monitor patients during and after treatment, and obtain necessary lab work
- Assess and monitor patient access with intervention as appropriate
- Follow clinic infection control policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with the charge nurse to keep them aware of patient condition changes
- Administer and educate patients regarding medications, within scope of practice
- Accredited practical nursing program completion
- Dialysis experience preferred, but not required
- Current LPN license in the state of Ohio
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Current state IV therapy training requirements, if applicable
