Job Description

At MYC Drugs Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications to patients, while also providing comprehensive advice on medication use, side effects, and interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Management: Dispense medications accurately to patients, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Patient Education: Offer comprehensive advice on medication use, side effects, and interactions, promoting patient understanding and adherence.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to all pharmacy regulations at federal, state, and local levels, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Team Development: Train and support pharmacy staff in best practices, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborative Care: Work with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or excess, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Insurance Handling: Process insurance claims and manage reimbursements efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Customer Interaction: Address patient questions and concerns professionally, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • Mandatory: Valid pharmacist license in accordance with state laws.
  • Mandatory: Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) from an accredited program.
  • Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy environment.
