Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist - Acquisition Expert to join our team at Sonatech, LLC. As a critical member of our organization, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement of multiple components, subassemblies, raw materials, finished goods, production equipment, and supplies from distribution and approved suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, purchase order creation, and vendor management.
  2. Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and company policies.
  3. Coordinate with technical teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, driving cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
  5. Track procurement expenditures, provide reports, and ensure budget adherence.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably within federal contracting or defense sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, Excel, and other office tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
