We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Pantherx Specialty LLC. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient experience and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with Patients: Establish rapport with patients via phone to introduce program offerings, customize welcome kits, ensure clinical compliance, and coordinate prescription refills.
- Coordinate with Healthcare Providers: Conduct physician office welcome calls to provide program overviews and complete enrollment in physician office communication preference plans.
- Manage Patient Interactions: Track all interactions with patients and manufacturer representatives, utilizing mutually agreed-upon platforms, to the extent permitted by law.
- Resolve Inquiries: Serve as the primary contact for patients and physicians to resolve inquiries and provide support.
- Enroll Patients in Financial Assistance Programs: Screen and exclude federal and state healthcare program beneficiaries from participating in commercial co-payment programs and enroll patients in financial assistance programs as appropriate.
- Process Pharmacy Claims: Process pharmacy claims accurately and timely, obtaining authorizations and overrides as needed, and discussing financial responsibility with patients.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Accept direction from pharmacists and leadership regarding various elements of specialty call compliance programs and communicate effectively with the RPH Supervisor and Program Manager.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of customer service experience and 1-3 years of experience in a specialty pharmacy call center environment preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.
This role operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
