We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Specialist to join our team at Grifols. As a Medical Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our donors by performing physical examinations, establishing medical histories, and evaluating donor suitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories to determine donor eligibility
- Build strong relationships with donors to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor information with discretion
- Provide education and counseling to donors on general health and wellness, as well as unacceptable test results
- Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
- Assist in employee training and development
- Administer employee health programs, including the Hepatitis Vaccine program
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Medical Specialist who is:
Currently certified/licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, Advanced EMT, or EMT BasicProficient in CPR/BLS certificationBilingual in English and SpanishWhat We Offer
