The Role
We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to collaborate with our Financial Services clientele. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence in New York three days a week.
The compensation range in New York is between $75,000 and $90,000.
As a Sourcer, you will play a pivotal role in our clients' recruitment success by building strong partnerships with Hiring Managers and Recruiters. Your ability to ask insightful questions will ensure a comprehensive understanding of client needs and specific roles. By utilizing data, historical hiring patterns, and market insights, you will craft tailored sourcing strategies and employ various tools to identify top talent. You will serve as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating opportunities to candidates in an engaging and authentic manner, ensuring they are well-informed and interested before being introduced to Hiring Managers. A Lead Sourcing Specialist will assist clients in securing specialized and niche talent, addressing complex hiring requirements that demand innovative sourcing techniques and strong collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a Trusted Advisor
- Foster collaborative relationships with Recruiters to enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Utilize your expertise and resources while collaborating with sourcing and talent intelligence specialists to create effective sourcing strategies.
- Provide insights and thought leadership during recruitment discussions, ensuring a thorough understanding of the client's business and role requirements.
- Engage confidently with client stakeholders, leveraging your knowledge and AMS network to propose effective solutions for challenging hiring scenarios.
- Deliver high-quality, engaged candidate shortlists to Hiring Managers, providing comprehensive information to facilitate informed hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to share candidate feedback and insights, advocating for solutions that adapt the recruitment strategy as needed.
- Exhibit innovative thinking and a commitment to continuous professional development within your role.
- 2-4 years of experience in candidate sourcing or full-cycle recruiting.
- Proven experience in Financial Services, particularly in Wealth Management Front Office roles.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter is essential.
- Familiarity with Workday, Taleo, and Eightfold is advantageous.
- Experience with an ATS and maintaining data integrity is crucial.
- Expertise in utilizing advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searching, to identify candidates through both active and passive channels.
- Experience in direct engagement with end-clients is preferred.
