Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Patient-Centered Care: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with neurological conditions, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment.
- Assess and Evaluate Patients: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and test results.
- Participate in Discharge Planning: Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care for patients, including coordination with community resources and healthcare providers.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Certification and Licensing: Valid Florida Registered Nurse License, ACLS, BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Experience: One year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods and procedures, health and safety guidelines and procedures, excellent patient experience skills, ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems, ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships, and ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
