Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurology Staff

University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurology team at UHealth Tower. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care in our Neurology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
  • Valid Florida Registered Nurse License, ACLS, BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • One year of nursing experience, with a strong background in Neurology care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
