Agricultural Sales Representative

Sinclair Tractor, a leading provider of agricultural equipment and precision farming solutions in Southeast Iowa, seeks an experienced Agricultural Sales Representative to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the company's products to walk-in customers and driving sales growth at our Sigourney location.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably in the agricultural industry, with a proven track record of success in meeting sales targets. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.

• Represent Sinclair Tractor's products to walk-in customers and promote sales growth at our Sigourney location.
• Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
• Provide quoting and pricing support to outside sales teams, including building material quotes.
• Meet with Service Manager weekly to discuss sales/service priority lists.
• Meet with Regional Sales Manager weekly to review priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
• Audit display and condition of equipment for security, readiness, and appeal to customers.
• Organize lot and showroom displays based on season to provide the best customer experience.
• Handle sales calls and tasks, following up with salesmen as needed to ensure they are owning their customer relationships.

• 2+ years of successful sales experience in the ag equipment industry or related field strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of agricultural, application, and turf equipment, as well as farming or operational practices, is a plus.
• Ability to use standard desktop applications like Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High School diploma or GED required; AA degree in business or agriculture-related field is preferred.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Sinclair Tractor offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

The Agricultural Sales Representative will work in a fast-paced office and workshop environment, with frequent travel to meet with customers and attend industry events. The successful candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions, lift at least 75 pounds, and sit/stand for extended periods.
