Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ownership of toolsets, ensuring effective preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and on-demand support for work orders. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency within the fabrication cleanrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts regular Preventive Maintenance schedules.
- Assists in the setup and repair of various tools.
- Provides support for setups and on-demand service, acting as the first line of defense for work order assistance in both Wet and Dry processing environments.
- Maintains all systems related to PM, work orders, tool calibration, and building maintenance dashboards.
- Performs necessary repairs on toolset-related equipment as required.
- Participates in waste and recyclable material collection tasks.
- Ensures facilities are maintained to support overall customer service needs, emphasizing safety and cleanliness.
- Contributes to the management of spare parts and preventive maintenance documentation.
- Collaborates with third-party vendors and contractors for maintenance of purchased equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and adjusting machine programs.
- Experience in Class 7 or Class 8 cleanroom settings is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. from floor to waist.
- Skilled in servicing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing aspects of manufacturing equipment.
- Prior training or certification in forklift operation, OSHA regulations, and hazardous materials safety is required.
- Willingness to work in high-noise environments as needed.
Preferred Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Vocational or Technical Education is advantageous.
Training Requirements:
- On-the-job training will be provided as necessary.
