Outpatient Therapist

Malvern Community Health Services (MCHS) is seeking a qualified Outpatient Therapist to join our team in Reading, PA. As a key member of our Outpatient Program, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, promoting independence and managing mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy sessions to clients on a regular basis
  • Complete all necessary paperwork within policy time frames
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in supervision
  • Make referrals to community resources as needed
  • Transfer skills to clients to promote independence
  • Comply with state regulations and training requirements
Requirements:
  • Licensed mental health clinician with a graduate degree in a related field
  • Master's level prepared candidate with a degree in a related field
  • Bachelor's level prepared candidate with a degree in a related field
  • Individual and family therapy experience
  • Knowledge of mental health systems and community resources
