Position Overview:
Mercy Springfield is actively seeking a skilled nurse for the Float Pool unit. This is a part-time RN role requiring 24 hours per week, and it is eligible for benefits. The specific shift will be determined based on the candidate's experience. This role may involve floating to various departments, including Med Surg, with Float Pool RNs rotating daily to assigned areas. Eligible candidates will receive an additional $4.00/hour Float Pay.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must be a graduate of a state-approved professional nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a current RN Missouri temporary work permit.
- Certifications: Must possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within the probation period.
Important Note: Mercy has classified this position as safety-sensitive. The ability to maintain constant alertness and operate in a safe manner is a fundamental requirement of this role.
