Position Overview:
The University of Maine at Fort Kent is in search of one or two adjunct faculty members to provide clinical instruction in nursing for the upcoming semester. The courses available include NUR 330: Adult I Clinical Instruction and NUR 425: Adult III Clinical Instruction. Clinical instructors will guide nursing students at various clinical sites.

Travel Requirements:
Instructors will be required to travel to different clinical locations as part of their instructional duties.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess professional experience relevant to the courses they will teach and demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in teaching. The minimum qualification required is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Compensation:
Part-time faculty members are compensated on a per credit hour basis, following the guidelines set forth by the Maine Part-Time Faculty Association (PATFA contract).

Employment Status:
This position is part-time and temporary, with the possibility of rehire in future semesters, contingent upon course availability, scheduling, funding, and performance. Continuation of employment is subject to the terms of the PATFA bargaining agreement and other applicable university policies.
