Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring proper grading.
  • Establish forms and verify their alignment and stability.
  • Execute concrete pouring and finishing utilizing the appropriate tools and methods.
  • Oversee the curing process of concrete and implement necessary measures for optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct repairs and patching of concrete as required.
  • Safely operate and maintain concrete machinery and tools.
  • Comply with all safety standards and company protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to achieve project deadlines and specifications.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Assist and mentor less experienced workers when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in concrete construction.
  • Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Expertise in form setting, pouring, and finishing concrete.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent physical stamina and capability to work in diverse weather conditions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in concrete construction or a related field.
  • Experience with heavy machinery operation, such as concrete pumps or excavators.

Compensation and Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
