Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Bulk Foods team as a Bulk Foods Clerk - Customer Service Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the condition of the bulk food department, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring product quality and selection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Department Maintenance: Maintain the condition of the bulk food department, including bulk food bins and machines, to meet company standards.
  • Product Management: Ensure product quality and selection, including breaking down freight, placing product in inventory, and operating equipment as needed.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash and garbage.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and receiving product as needed.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Physical Demands: Stand, walk, and move rapidly for long periods of time, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights, and push and pull handtrucks and carts.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, including reading and following guides, recipes, and product labels.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve department and store goals.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to changing situations, including varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
