Our current opening is for morning shift 5:00AM-1:30PM.Job SummaryOur Production Operator will assist with various tasks within our manufacturing process. Our operators are responsible for: cutting various whole muscle proteins into finish product sizes, running various equipment (shakers, tumblers, mixers, etc.) pulling pieces of cooked product apart if they are stuck together and remove inferior pieces. They are also responsible for packaging finished product into bags, bulk totes or boxes. and running various packaging equipment.Responsibilities and DutiesRemoving any excess fat, bones, cartilage from product.Report any unusual noises coming from the machinery.Inspecting product for quality by removing defects from line during cooking.Break up product clusters as required.Watch for any changes that may indicate that there is a problem on the line.Help wash machinery when needed to do a species/protein change.Responsible for recording various components (lot numbers, best by date, etc).Remove boxes from line and place into outer cases when needed and stack onto pallet for shipping.Label boxes correctly by the product and lot number.Become familiar with equipment and be able to report any unusual noises coming from the machinery.Responsible for the quality of the finished product and is expected to watch for foreign material or contamination.Keep work area clean.Know and follow all Good Manufacturing Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.Qualifications and SkillsHigh School diploma or equivalent. Good communication skills.
