Responsibilities:
Under direct guidance and/or supervision of the primary operative surgeon, assists in the perioperative care of patients, in surgery, and performs duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate degree from accredited surgical assistant program, Surgical Assistant- Certified (SA-C) from the American Board of Surgical Assistants, American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification, and one year of surgical assistant experience.
