Job Summary

As a Facility Maintenance Technician with ADDICTION AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, LLC, you will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general cleaning. The ideal candidate has proven experience in a maintenance role and outstanding organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior, including basic electrical and plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and low-voltage wiring.
  • Respond to and close out work orders, while maintaining an ongoing maintenance schedule.
  • Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for building repairs and emergencies outside the scope of routine maintenance.
  • Complete general repairs, such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves, and landscaping.
  • Care for established lawns by mulching, weeding, mowing, and trimming as needed.
  • Properly use equipment, such as shovels, rakes, hedger, brush trimmers, riding and walk-behind mowers.
  • Snow and ice removal (location dependent).
  • Upkeep of pool to meet state standards (location dependent).
  • Site ambassador to enforce health and safety best practices.
  • Assist with site set up/clean up for events at location.
  • Fill in for Manager on an as needed basis.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to tend to priority needs.
  • Complete trainings as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • FirstAid/CPR required.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
  • Additional licenses or certifications preferred.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently or on a team, with minimal supervision while staying highly motivated.
  • Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret written information.
  • Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work on-call, nights, and weekends.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and reach continually.
  • Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers, talk or hear.
  • Work environment is both indoors and outdoor in all weather conditions.
