About the Role

As a Department Supervisor at H&M Group, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit goals in the store by delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with the Sales and Profit team to execute a plan that meets the expectations of customers and colleagues.

A Day in the Life

A typical day as a Department Supervisor will include:

  • Supporting the total OMNI customer experience in the store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines.
  • Representing the H&M brand positively during customer interactions and ensuring customer service is provided in all areas of the store.
  • Working with the Department Manager to identify commercial opportunities and develop strategies to act on them.
  • Ensuring the team has the ability to work towards actively promoting and selling products to customers.
  • Following up on customer interactions and ensuring correct routines in fitting room and checkout.
  • Ensuring all admin routines for both people and operations are handled in a correct way.
Fashion and Trend Awareness

You will be responsible for:

  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, styles, and brands.
  • Ensuring the team provides product and fashion knowledge to customers.
Team and Development

You will:

  • Retain and share knowledge and skills with the Store team.
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser team to plan and execute visual displays.
  • Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn and develop.
  • Communicate regularly with store colleagues to inform, motivate, and inspire.
Retail Operations and Visual Execution

You will be responsible for:

  • Securing a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house.
  • Ensuring high fashion quality, visual, and commercial product presentation.
  • Securing good stock levels and providing input on allocation to the Area team.
  • Ensuring the full garment cycle, from delivery to garment presentation, and fitting room routines are according to our standards.
