Job Summary

Fairbanks Scales Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating and driving sales of our products and services to new customers, as well as maintaining and growing our existing customer base within a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including generating leads and creating sales pipelines
  • Present product features and benefits to customers, addressing their needs and concerns
  • Work closely with the service team to support existing customers and identify potential new customers
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial or capital equipment sales
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
