Beaumont, Texas, with a population exceeding 118,000, is situated in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, approximately 85 miles east of Houston. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute job functions adhering to the highest safety standards and implementing the Company’s safety protocols, including reporting all incidents and discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain pressure transmitters, MOVs, PLC systems, and other control systems/components.
  • Diagnose and maintain communication equipment and components.
  • Accurately and promptly complete required documentation (e.g., foreign line crossings).
  • Utilize loop drawings and specification sheets for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control devices.
  • Interpret pipeline alignment drawings, site electrical drawings, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Oversee contractors responsible for maintaining electrical infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for all tasks.
  • Lead safety meetings.
  • Perform various mathematical calculations related to over/short reconciliation.
  • Identify unusual operating conditions and initiate necessary emergency response procedures.
Qualifications

Essential Skills
  • Proven ability to maintain a consistent safety-oriented work ethic.
  • Capability to plan daily work activities in alignment with established Company and Regulatory procedures.
  • Effective communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Strong organizational skills (documentation, work area management, etc.).
  • Proficient in operating hand tools and other pipeline equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of emergency response protocols and DOT motor carrier regulations.
  • Willingness to attend and complete required training courses.
  • Able to work collaboratively in small team environments.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations, both indoors and outdoors, under diverse weather conditions.
  • Possession of safe driving skills and a valid driver's license.
  • Readiness to respond to callouts as required by the position.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or an associate degree.
