Beaumont, Texas, with a population exceeding 118,000, is situated in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, approximately 85 miles east of Houston. Key Responsibilities
- Execute job functions adhering to the highest safety standards and implementing the Company’s safety protocols, including reporting all incidents and discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot and maintain pressure transmitters, MOVs, PLC systems, and other control systems/components.
- Diagnose and maintain communication equipment and components.
- Accurately and promptly complete required documentation (e.g., foreign line crossings).
- Utilize loop drawings and specification sheets for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control devices.
- Interpret pipeline alignment drawings, site electrical drawings, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Oversee contractors responsible for maintaining electrical infrastructure.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for all tasks.
- Lead safety meetings.
- Perform various mathematical calculations related to over/short reconciliation.
- Identify unusual operating conditions and initiate necessary emergency response procedures.
Essential Skills
- Proven ability to maintain a consistent safety-oriented work ethic.
- Capability to plan daily work activities in alignment with established Company and Regulatory procedures.
- Effective communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Strong organizational skills (documentation, work area management, etc.).
- Proficient in operating hand tools and other pipeline equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Knowledge of emergency response protocols and DOT motor carrier regulations.
- Willingness to attend and complete required training courses.
- Able to work collaboratively in small team environments.
- Flexibility to work in various locations, both indoors and outdoors, under diverse weather conditions.
- Possession of safe driving skills and a valid driver's license.
- Readiness to respond to callouts as required by the position.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or an associate degree.
