The Master Machinist is a highly skilled professional responsible for operating a wide range of CNC machines, including CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Vertical Machining Centers, grinders, and CMM. As a key member of the Kyocera team, the successful candidate will be expected to run 2-5 machines simultaneously, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC machines, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting
- Run multiple machines simultaneously to meet production demands
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure adherence to company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CNC technology and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC machining and operation
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and setup
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
