Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary Consultant for clients on pension plan risk management, focusing on budget planning, cost-efficiency strategies, and plan design evaluation.
  • Oversee revenue management, budgeting processes, and overall team performance.
  • Contribute to departmental strategy and direction.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets along with client billing processes.
  • Serve as the actuarial expert and resource for both internal teams and external clients.
  • Establish and uphold quality benchmarks.
  • Support business development initiatives, including responses to RFPs, participation in conferences, and the cultivation of a professional network.
  • Foster a positive company culture and promote an engaged workplace environment.
  • Ensure the protection and proper management of all confidential information to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure that could negatively impact the organization or its clients.
  • Demonstrate our I-Client service philosophy and core values of People Matter, Quality First, and Integrity Always in daily activities, reinforcing our organizational culture.
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed.

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or a related discipline.
  • ASA and EA designations are mandatory; FSA designation is highly preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in pension consulting, project management, and team leadership.
  • Experience with public sector and/or church plans is advantageous; familiarity with relevant Florida statutes is particularly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, including client engagement and presentation abilities.
