Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Professional - Patient Care Coordination to join our team at Vidant Medical Center. As a member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing comprehensive care and support throughout their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act and other relevant standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs and goals of each patient
  • Delegate tasks and activities as appropriate, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed in a timely and effective manner
Requirements
  • Diploma in Nursing, Associate's degree in Nursing, or higher
  • Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • 2-4 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient care coordination
Working Conditions

This position requires flexibility in scheduling to meet the 24-hour needs of patients, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
