POSITION SUMMARY

Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Prepare housekeeping cart with necessary supplies and transport it to designated areas. Enter guest accommodations following established procedures to ensure safety and privacy. Replace guest amenities and supplies as needed. Change out soiled linens and towels with fresh items. Make beds and arrange towels neatly. Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly. Dispose of trash, soiled linens, and room service items appropriately. Verify that all appliances are present and functioning correctly. Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.

Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; store flammable materials properly. Maintain a clean and professional appearance; uphold confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $20.00 per hour and includes health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.
