Job Title: Welder

Join Avery Weigh-Tronix, a leading manufacturer of weighing equipment, as a skilled Welder in our Fairmont facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding high-quality products while meeting company deadlines and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate welding machines to fabricate steel components
  • Read blueprints and weld according to specifications
  • Build parts according to order specifications
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools
  • Meet objectives outlined in the Safety Policy
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of welding techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to operate hand tools and read a tape measure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
