Job Title: Welder

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Aerotek. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding metal parts to create high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and setup requirements.
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on materials or workpieces.
• Assemble units to blueprint specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Tack pieces together as dictated on blueprints or for stabilization.
• Weld pieces together to ensure the unit will hold liquid without leaks or function properly.
• Pre-inspect units to ensure customer and company expectations have been met.
• Complete required paperwork and unit labeling (e.g., stamping).
• Ensure units are inspected by Quality Control.
• Assemble and return paperwork to the proper location.
• Document all time spent on the unit via the E2 time ticket process.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and measurement techniques.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
