Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at White Plains Hospital. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the advancement of nursing practice.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide care to patients in collaboration with physicians
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences
  • Prescribe medications and therapies, as appropriate, and order diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Provide patient education and support, promoting health literacy and self-management
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse and Nurse Practitioner
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Collaborative practice agreement
  • Minimum two years' experience in an acute care setting, preferably in primary care
