Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at Taco Cabana. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Restaurant Managers and Team Members to achieve sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and control restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor costs, and food quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement business plans, goals, and objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and community partners.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to Restaurant Managers and Team Members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing costs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor costs, and food quality.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
