Orlando Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Central Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders, including those requiring ventilatory support.
- Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, including the use of ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate and precise patient records.
- Select, assemble, check, and operate equipment as needed.
- Associate degree from an approved Respiratory Care program.
- Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Licensed by the State of Florida (Department of Health) - renewed bi-annually.
- Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
- Advanced Life Support as appropriate per unit and site.
