Job Responsibilities- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
- Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
