Job Summary

The Registered Nurse I is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This role requires a strong understanding of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial models, and clinical pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to care for patients, assessing, organizing, and completing patient care with consideration for patient age, cultural, and psychosocial factors.
  • Document steps of the nursing process, utilizing proper medical terminology, and addressing problems and progress toward goals.
  • Facilitate patient discharge through timely, appropriate referrals, and utilization of patient education resources, suitable to patient age and cultural/psychosocial factors.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate, supporting unit/hospital goals through PI and educational activities.
Requirements
  • Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
  • 0-6 months related experience.
  • Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
Working Environment
