### Job Title: Youth Support Counselor

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Counselor to join our team at Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services. As a key member of our residential treatment program, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for young girls aged 14-17 who have experienced trauma or disabilities.

### Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and deliver individual and group psycho-educational and life skills activities to support the emotional and behavioral well-being of our residents
* Conduct assessments to tailor services to each youth's unique strengths and needs
* Provide transportation services and reinforce daily living and socialization skills
* Serve as a mentor and positive role model for the youth

### Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, or counseling
* At least one year of experience working in a related behavioral health or institutional setting
* Ability to engage and empower youth, listen attentively, and offer support and choices
* Valid driver's license with a clean standing over the past 6 months
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Respect for cultural and human diversity
