As a Youth Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of our residents. You will work closely with a team of professionals to create individualized care plans and implement evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and support to youth, including supervision, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments and activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and effective delivery of therapeutic services.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and complete resident records, including progress notes and incident reports.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field with one year of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
- We will consider applicants with High School diplomas that can demonstrate at least three (3) years' experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Physical and drug screening, criminal record history, FBI, and Child Abuse History Clearances.
The ideal Youth Care Specialist possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for working with youth, and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
