Job Title: Logistics Specialist

At TireHub LLC, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of tires from our warehouse to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload tires from transport vehicles, inspecting them for damage or defects
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks to move tires and other materials
  • Conduct cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regularly scheduled and annual inventory control procedures
  • Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions
  • Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition
  • Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and report any operational issues or mechanical defects to the supervisor or designated person
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of general work experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have at least 3 years of driving history, with a valid driver's license (does not include driver's permit)
  • Must be 19 years old or older
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance
  • Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:

Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb and balance.

Maybe required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).

Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Works and operate equipment in various settings, ranging from non-climate-controlled warehouses to customer locations.

Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice.

Driving during the night or in inclement weather may be required.
