KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct advance planning for material procurement, project layout, prefabrication, and ensure readiness with the required workforce, tools, and equipment for the upcoming two weeks.
- Uphold safety protocols and client standard operating procedures, maintain team morale, and adhere to schedules by leading through example, demonstrating professionalism, supportiveness, and effective communication, while being organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in recognizing potential delays or challenges that may affect the project timeline.
- Engage in communication with team members and suppliers, coordinate with other subcontractors and the primary contractor, participate in meetings, and proactively identify potential issues.
- Exhibit proficiency in managing change orders, resolving problems, documenting progress and delays, and ensuring the project remains on schedule.
- Understand the project scope, act with professionalism, and take responsibility. This includes mentoring team members, fulfilling the expectations of your role, maintaining respect and professionalism, and ensuring project success.
- Implement the plan to successfully complete the project on schedule, according to blueprints and specifications, while adhering to budget constraints.
- Foster team development, morale, and collaboration through strong leadership, while continuously enhancing your leadership skills in the trade and personal growth.
- Deliver quality workmanship to cultivate successful client relationships for future projects, contributing to the overall success of the company.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and prioritize safety practices to ensure the well-being of all team members.
- Commit to adherence to policies and procedures, while maintaining transparent communication with the team through daily logs and bi-weekly forecasts.
- Ability to interpret and understand blueprints, specifications, and contract documents, possess a solid understanding of electrical codes, and plan projects efficiently and effectively. Relevant experience with monetary project sizes is essential.
- Self-motivated with strong leadership capabilities, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication with team members and clients.
- Proficient in operating standard electrical trade tools and equipment, knowledgeable about safety regulations, and technologically adept in using company software. Open to constructive feedback, ambitious in pursuing goals, resourceful in optimizing resources, and willing to learn from experiences.
- Decisive in determining the best course of action, adaptable to changing situations, and capable of overcoming challenges that may arise.
