Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in Palestine, Texas.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and be proficient in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and small parts sonograms. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.

The Ultrasound Technologist will work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols to provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). They will also possess a State License as a general radiographer and/or be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

Requirements
  • 3 years of recent General OB/GYN Abdomen and Vascular Tech experience
  • ARDMS or RDCS certification
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with 4 10-hour shifts on weekend days
