We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our team at Albany Medical Center. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our medical team.
About the RoleThis position involves assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care, with a focus on progress toward discharge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team, ensuring that competent, compassionate care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in various settings.
Responsibilities- Contribute to creating a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through displays of kindness and active listening.
- Demonstrate excellence in daily work, actively participating in performance and quality improvement activities, and working toward enhancing customer/patient satisfaction.
- Exhibit positive service excellence skills to patients, visitors, and coworkers by greeting others in a friendly manner, keeping them informed about progress, delays, and changes.
- Demonstrate effective teamwork by interacting positively with colleagues and creating a collaborative work environment, initiating open communication, conveying positive intent, and offering assistance.
- Contribute to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, colleagues by following established procedures and protocols, addressing the needs of diverse populations.
- Demonstrate stewardship by thoughtful and responsible use of resources, maintaining a clean and hospitable environment, starting work on time, and displaying consciousness regarding costs, supplies, and department finances.
- Demonstrate respect for individual differences by acknowledging the essence of each person, appreciating unique backgrounds, and responding accordingly.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of healthcare regulations are also essential.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $45.00 - $70.00 per hour, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
