Position Summary
VDart Inc is in search of a skilled Project Manager to oversee the execution of projects within the renewable natural gas and wastewater treatment sectors. This role involves coordinating capital sales projects and managing daily project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of wastewater and biogas treatment facilities utilizing various methodologies. This includes the assessment of P&IDs, equipment submissions, and control documentation.
- Supervise the technical components of the procurement process, collaborating with the purchasing team to ensure supplier alignment with project requirements.
- Maintain relationships with clients and all relevant project stakeholders.
- Guarantee that all projects are completed on schedule, within defined scope, and budget constraints.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor progress and evaluate performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain thorough project documentation.
- Employ suitable verification methods to manage alterations in project scope, timeline, and costs.
- Coordinate commissioning timelines for biogas treatment systems.
- Willingness to travel to vendor and client locations, not exceeding 20% of the time.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to specify and procure process equipment, chemicals, and components.
- Provide support to the Sales department as required.
- Deliver technical training as requested by internal teams or external clients.
- Adhere to safe working practices while on client premises.
- Possess extensive knowledge in various technical areas and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable US design standards.
- Contribute to the implementation and adherence to the QHSE policy at the departmental level.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, Electrical, etc.) or equivalent technical background.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant practical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Experience in water and gas treatment is preferred.
- Familiarity with US design standards applicable to the RNG market.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
- Practical, professional, and results-driven mindset.
- Customer-oriented approach with a commercial perspective.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently.
