Job Overview

We are seeking a certified medical assistant to perform various office and clinical duties at our Novant Health Ballantyne Pediatrics clinic.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting test samples, maintaining patient records, explaining common medical procedures to patients, and assisting in basic examinations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a medical setting and possess current certification as CMA, RMA or CCMA. A commitment to diversity and inclusion is also essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a safe and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with clinical duties, including medication administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification as CMA, RMA or CCMA required.
  • Previous work experience in a medical setting preferred.

The salary for this role is approximately $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
