Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Provider Network Navigator to join our team at the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in building and launching the nation's first long-term services and support social insurance program, the WA Cares Fund.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and onboard long-term services and support providers who will offer approved WA Care Services to eligible program beneficiaries.
  • Partner with providers to verify eligibility, coordinate training sessions, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement outreach and recruiting strategies across multiple platforms, communities, and languages.
  • Deliver training and collaborate in the development of training materials to equip providers with the skills and knowledge they need to function within the WA Cares program.
  • Facilitate provider application, registration, and contracting, and serve as a point of contact for program-related inquiries from providers.
Requirements
  • 9 years of professional/practical experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering social, financial, health, or chemical dependency treatment services programs.
  • Or, a master's degree in social science, health, public administration, or a related field, plus 4 years of professional experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering social, financial, health, or chemical dependency treatment services programs.
  • Or, a bachelor's degree in social work, a health or social science, public administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering social, financial, health, or chemical dependency treatment services programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Skilled in recruiting, evaluating, and auditing contracted employees.
  • Knowledgeable about long-term care provider regulations or licensing requirements and compliance.
  • Experience with ProviderOne, AAA, Medicaid systems, and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process improvement.
  • Proficient in writing policies, procedures, and training materials.
