Job Summary

The HUP Emergency Department is a state-of-the-art facility providing care to high-acuity specialty populations and the West Philadelphia community. As a Clinical Nurse 2, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient wellness and safety while maintaining compassionate and meaningful care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care through the application of the nursing process, accepting accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients.
  • Work closely with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate coordination of care across the continuum.
  • Seek feedback in assuming leadership roles and provide feedback for improved clinical practice.
  • Comply with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Requirements
  • BLS/CPR certification as a healthcare provider, as per the American Heart Association.
  • Pennsylvania RN licensure.
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • More than 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience and completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable.
