Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Specialist, you will work closely with children and families to provide individualized therapy services, promoting skill development and independence. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of each child, incorporating goals and objectives to promote progress and development.
  • Provide 1:1 therapeutic intervention and group instruction, utilizing evidence-based methods to address a range of skills and abilities.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy.
Qualifications
  • OTR/L (Occupational Therapist, Registered) or OTD (Doctor of Occupational Therapy) degree.
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the State of Illinois.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, with a focus on birth to 18 years.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a therapeutic setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
