Job Overview

General Summary: The Educational Center Administrator will oversee, direct, and evaluate the daily functions of the Head Start educational initiative at designated Center(s). This role is aligned with Head Start performance benchmarks, CSPP stipulations, state licensing mandates, OHS guidelines, and our organizational policies.

The Administrator is expected to work a full-time schedule exceeding 40 hours per week, which may necessitate early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision Duties (80%): Lead and manage staff to ensure high-quality preschool services for children enrolled in the Head Start program.
  • Staff and Family Development Partnerships (10%): Foster relationships with families and staff to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Administrative and Record Keeping (10%): Maintain accurate records and oversee administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in early childhood education.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Must be fully vaccinated.
