Direct Support Professional 2

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team in Monterey Park, CA.
About the Role:The Direct Support Professional 2 will provide person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their health, safety, and well-being. This role involves creating daily routines, assisting with daily living tasks, and advocating for the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, including bathroom needs, meal preparation, and clean-up.
- Provide transportation for clients as needed, ensuring their safe and timely arrival at appointments and activities.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless support and advocacy for clients.
- Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
- First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
- Valid California Driver's License.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Competitive hourly rate of $17.00.
