Operations Manager Assistant Job Description

Entertainment Technology Partners LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager Assistant to join our team. As an Operations Manager Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the leadership and management of our organization, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of weekly operations schedules to meet workload requirements.
  • Collaborate with Inventory Control, Quality Control, Transportation, and Operations staff to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist in the direction of safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations of all warehouse facilities, including budgeting, customer service, and equipment operations.
  • Administer overall inventory management, productivity, accuracy, and loss prevention to ensure business and client objectives are met.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Assume Operations Manager and Supervisor responsibilities and duties when needed.
  • Manage warehouse purchases and expenses, including department supplies, and submit and generate purchase orders for approval.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures.
  • Responsible for performance evaluations for all supervisory staff reporting to this position.
  • Follow established procedures to manage annual equipment inventory and ensure proper accounting of cross rental gear.
  • Oversee billing and asset control sheets for proper procedural handling.
  • Make staffing level recommendations and interview candidates.
  • Partner with Human Resources in the recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning personnel, coaching, and counseling, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Designate a supervisor on duty as needed.
  • Assist in all QC disciplines (audio, video, and lighting).
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
